guess where we are eating bananas?

I've been a bit radio-dark on the cancer front, but for those of you who are tracking us: we have decided to go with the a few more rounds of chemo and watch closely route.

Round one started yesterday in Philadelphia. My little guy is much more active and obsessed with pulling himself up (using crib rails, my hands, my face, my hair) than he was in July when we were doing this last, so the next few days tethered to a pole and a small room are going to be quite the challenge. Ooh, and look at that halo of fuzz! His head is so velvety right now I cannot keep my hands off of him. Even though he'll be losing that soon, it's just nice to know it knows how to grow back. Reuben's eyelashes are dark and a good 1/8" long now, too, which I think is kind of giving him the guyliner look, but that's from the woman who stares at him all day long.

Our night went pretty well: he was up several times, but always consolable.
And he's smiling, which is not always the case here.
And currently rocking to Justin Roberts, of course. Though he thinks Mama should join him, so that's the end of this!

I just checked hoping for and update. I still can't get over what a smiley guy he is. Good luck with keeping him "tethered" this week!

Yeah. I too was peeking in to see if there was any news. love the grin. Is that the signature quilt? I'm glad it's holding up. If it ever needs repair, return to manufacturer!

So glad for the update. You are such an amazing mother! We all have our trials, but I think you win a prize! Praying that all goes well.

Good Luck! I was just thinking about you today. I have a feeling you and Reuben will have an interesting week with the "pole". You are in our prayers, as always.
